Open House and Grand Re-opening
Pepperoni Pizza, Sausage Pizza, Meats Pizza, and the Works Pizza was on the menu when the Republican Party of Lee County had its fall grand re-opening and open house event. It was a great time to set and relax and to talk with friends. Sherriff Carter talked about teamwork and the Republican Team, and Representative Mike Stone talked about working together and getting out the vote. It was a great chance to eat and talk.
Republican Party Has Booth at Fair
The Lee County Republican Party had a booth at the Lee County Regional Fair. All of the volunteers had a blast! There were thousands of people that stopped to talk, and over 100 people filled out voter registration forms to register to vote. We had coffee and water for people that needed to set down and rest and talk. This gave the candidates for office a chance to hear from people that don't usually come to meetings, and to make new friends.Read the rest of this post
Empty Chairs
Today is National Empty Chair Day. Thanks to Clint Eastwood's talk from the RNC, there are chairs all across the country waiting for a leader to show up. The White House has an empty chair, Obama is out playing golf and not leading the country. We will fill the chair in November!!!
Renee Ellmers Meets Lee NC Candidates
On Monday August 13th Renee Ellmers met with the state senate, house, and Lee County Commissioner candidates. This was all part of the joint Republican Women/Republican Party meeting. We are looking forward to a sweep in November from the top of the ballot all the way down.
Republican Women Host "Meet and Greet"
The Republican Women of Lee County sponsored a "Meet and Greet the Candidates" coffee and dessert social on Tuesday, March 27, at the GOP HQ. Local, state, and Congressional candidates attended, including a representative from Rick Santorum’s campaign. Read the rest of this post
Republican Party Convention
The Lee County Republican Party held its Annual Convention on March 17 2012. There were a total of 80 delegates chosen to the District and State Conventions. There were over 25 candidates for public office that spoke to the attendees. The next step in the process will be the District Convention on April 21 2012 at the Enrichment Center in Sanford.
Speaker Thom Tillis Visits Lee GOP Headquarters
